ABOUT XAN

It took me a long time to buy my first house. My mom was a Realtor®, and I knew young that property ownership was the true path to financial freedom. I grew up learning about escrow, open house staging, when and how to rehab a property. To me, a good woman knew how to hold a hammer. Some girls dreamt of wedding dresses, I dreamt of a home I could rehab. But that dream felt impossible. As a high school English and Poetry teacher in cities like Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Seattle, it just wasn’t in reach. So, I waited. I rented. I made some shitty decisions. I shuffled through more roommates than I can count.

But I made it. In 2020, after years of buckling down, and a little encouragement, I bought my first house. It was the best choice I’ve made. It’s one I’m excited to help you help you make for yourself.

In Seattle, I have been a tour guide, an education consultant, yoga teacher, and workshop leader.  But I am, and in a way always have been a broker of homes. I love freedom, and adventure.  But the greatest freedom I have found is inside my own home. I’m here to help you find that for yourself.
