Some girls dreamt of wedding dresses. I dreamt of a home I could rehab.

My mom was a Realtor. I grew up learning about escrow and open houses and what it meant to hold property. And still — as a teacher moving between Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Seattle — it took me years to get there. I rented. I waited. I made some bad decisions. I shuffled through more roommates than I care to count.

In 2020, I bought my first house. It was the best choice I've ever made.

That journey is why I do this work the way I do. I know what it feels like to want a home and not quite be able to reach it yet. I know the patience it requires, and the courage. And I know that the right agent makes the difference between a transaction and a turning point.

I came to real estate from a decade in education — which means I'm a communicator first. I don't assume you know the jargon. I don't rush the process. I meet you where you are and I stay until you understand.

I'm also a writer. I think about homes the way writers think about everything — as places that shape us, that hold our stories, that tell us something true about who we are and who we're becoming. If that resonates with you, you're probably my kind of client.
